Outrageous marketing in the flesh
There are two types of outrageous speeches & meetings that I do.

There are two types of speeches or meetings where I can be effective for you and your company.

  1. One-hour keynote speech. I have just one goal with this speech. How can I get my audience to think, to think a little differently. I'll have fun doing this, but I think the audience will have even more. What could be a better combination—thinking and having fun! Now that does sound outrageous. This is usually for a company or at a convention. You know, rev up the crowd to think outside the box. With this type of speech, I've spoken to groups of 30 to 1,500.
  2. One-day outrageous marketing Think Tank meeting. I just finished one of these with a hospital. It was a full-day affair. In the morning, we had a two-hour session with the CEO and key department heads. Each person came well prepared to think outrageous marketing. They had each read the book. It's always interesting to me to see how the conversation flows, a slew of notes are taken and actual game plans are drawn up. In the afternoon, I met for two-hours with the directors. Their issues were bigger, but they also had bigger clout. They came well prepared too. After some discussions, we zeroed in on the chapter "Levels of Cream" and came up with a outrageous idea that will work big-time.

I don't do public speaking for a living—my job with Mandalay sends about 200,000 air miles to me a year. But, I do fit in a couple of speeches/meetings per month. I find it interesting and fun and challenging and it helps keep me sharp. If you're interested in me coming to you and your company write me an email.
